In late 1995, suffering from quality and financial problems, a very troubled Mozzarella Fresca was purchased by best friends Andrew Branagh and David Wignall. Following a restructuring of the management team with a singular focus on quality, Mozzarella Fresca was reborn.
The “new” Mozzarella Fresca relentlessly pursued producing the best fresh mozzarella, marinated fresh mozzarella, mascarpone and ricotta. This passion for perfection has resulted in numerous awards and a nearly fifty fold increase in sales. The once small, troubled, local cheese producer has become the market leader in sales, quality and product innovation. Mozzarella Fresca can now be found Nationwide in fine food shops, independent delicatessens, groceries and warehouse/club stores. Mozzarella Fresca is also the name behind many of the top restaurant’s appetizers, entrees and desserts.
