Can I substitute mascarpone for cream cheese? PDF Print E-mail
Yes, absolutely. Although for some baking uses you’ll need to adjust the sugar levels in the recipe due to the Mascarpone being so naturally rich and sweet. And this sweetness is naturally occurring as there is no sugar or artificial sweetener added to the cheese.
