Grilled Salami Pannini with Fresh Mozzarella PDF Print E-mail

(makes two pannini)

Simple, warm, and molto bene!
Fresh Mozzarella - 8 ounces
Dry Salami, sliced - 8 ounces
Rustic Italian bread - 4 slices
Extra virgin olive oil - as needed
Kosher salt - to taste
Fresh ground pepper - to taste

Spread mustard on both slices of bread. Build this sandwich with salami as the bottom layer, season with salt and pepper.

Brush outside of sandwich with olive oil; grill on pannini grill or in a skillet till golden brown. (You can even do this open-face under the broiler.)
