Asian Salad with Fresh Mozzarella PDF Print E-mail
I’m adding this salad to our collection of recipes
just as a lark. While it may be fun and interesting sal_asiansal.jpg
to make every single thing we eat from scratch, I’m
not against buy a salad from a decent deli counter
and jazzing it up with some nice touches of my own.

In this case, I purchased a take-out container of
Asian Sugar Pea salad from the Deli counter at
Whole Foods – one of the better deli counters out
there. And just for kicks, when I got home I mixed
in some fresh mozzarella – in this case Ciliegine
sized balls that I cut in half – and then served
it. I thought that, while a soy-based dressing
isn’t the first thing comes to mind when dressing
a mozzarella salad, it was a nice (interesting)
change of pace from the usual Olive Oil and
Balsamic. Give it a shot!!
