Polenta with Portobellos and Mascarpone PDF Print E-mail
Ingredients
1 Package Polentaapp_polporto.jpg
Whole Milk
Butter
Parmesan Cheese
Mascarpone Cheese
Portobello Mushrooms
Red Wine
Olive Oil
Chopped Garlic
Balsamic Vinegar
Kosher Salt and White Pepper


Method
Prepare polenta according to instructions on the package;
ingredients in the polenta package recipe will include
parmesan, butter salt and pepper. While polenta is cooking,
slice mushrooms into chunks and sauté in olive oil, garlic,
salt and pepper. In a separate sauce pan, heat a little
balsamic vinegar and reduce contents by half.  When the
polenta has finished cooking, spoon into bowls and then
spoon the mushrooms over the polenta. Finish with a nice
big spoonful of Mascarpone and a drizzle of balsamic over
that.
