Insalata Italiano PDF Print E-mail
(serves two)

Fresh Mozzarella 1/3 ounce Ciliegine - 9 each
Salami, julienne - 2-4 ounces
Tomato, seeded, chopped - 1 each
Red onion, sliced thin - ½ cup
Garlic and herb vinaigrette (see below) - 3 ounces
Romaine, chopped - 1 large heart

Vinaigrette
Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
Dried parsley flakes - 1 teaspoon
Garlic, minced - 1 clove
Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
Red wine vinegar - 1 tablespoon
Sugar - ½ teaspoon
Kosher salt - ¼ teaspoon
Fresh ground pepper - ¼ teaspoon

Whisk together all vinaigrette ingredients, let sit for at least ten minutes. Whisk again before serving.

Toss all salad ingredients with Garlic & Herb vinaigrette, serve immediately.
