Party Sized Caprese Salad |

Ingredients
Lots of Hierloom Tomatoes
Lots of Fresh Mozzarella Medallions
Basil
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Kosher Salt
Cracked Black Pepper
Method
Here’s the deal, there really isn’t a wrong way to make
this salad, so llong as you follow a few simple rules:
use very fresh vine ripe tomatoes, Mozzarella Fresca
fresh mozzarella, and don’t dress the salad too close
to service. In the photo below, I alternate layers of
sliced tomatoes, mozzarella and basil leaves. Just before
service I drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil, balsamic
vinegar over the top and sprinkle either kosher or sea salt
and then a few turns of fresh cracked black pepper.
