Crostinis with Fresh Mozzarella, Tomatoes and Olives PDF Print E-mail
Ingredients
Italian Long Loaf style breadapp_cromool.jpg
Red Ripe Tomatoes
Fresh Mozzarella
Kalamata Olives
Extra Virgin olive Oil
Kosher Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper

Method
Cut bread diagonally into slices,
as in photo. Brush both sides with
olive oil and toast under the broiler
element of your oven. When done, set
aside to cool. Core and dice the tomatoes
and set in colander to drain excess liquid.
Drain mozzarella cheese and dice. Chop the
olives. On a serving platter, arrange the
crostini and top with diced tomatoes and
cheese. Sprinkle with a little kosher salt
and then black pepper. Finish with a bit of
chopped olives. Garnish with some good olive
oil and serve!!
