Portobello Mozzarella Burger PDF Print E-mail
Ingredients
Grilled Portobello Mushroom, burg_port.jpg
stem removed
Fresh Mozzarella,
sliced or Medallions
Fresh Arugula
Roasted Red Peppers
Sliced Red Onions

Method
Remove the stem from a large Portobello Mushroom cap. Brush off any excess dirt, but don't wash it with water. Instead brush the portobello mushroom with extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of chili flakes using a pastry brush. If convenient, use an our bbq grill for better flavor. Grill for a minute or two on both sides and finish in a 350 oven until tender, about 5 minutes. While cooking, drain and slice the mozzarella and toast the bun. Drain the red peppers. Slice the tomatoes and onions and clean the arugula. Arrange the ingredients on a bun and enjoy!
