Pasta with cherry Tomatoes and Mozzarella (#2) PDF Print E-mail

Ingredients
ent_pascher.jpg1 lb Spaghetti, dried
1 lb Mozzarella Fresca Marinated Fresh Mozzarella
1 bunch basil, leaves separated from stems
1 basket Cherry Tomatoes
Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt

Method Cook spaghetti in rapidly boiling salted water according to directions on box. While pasta is cooking, slice cherry tomatoes in half and separate mozzarella balls from marinade and reserve marinade. With the basil, set aside some of the smaller leaves. Combine tomatoes and cheese in a large mixing bowl. When pasta is finished, drain in colander and pour directly onto tomatoes and cheese. The heat from the pasta is all that you need to heat up the tomatoes and cheese. Add about a half-cup of reserved marinade and a small handful of basil leaves, salt and pepper. Toss gently and plate.
